BOOK DRIVE

Look for that special book(s) that you would like to donate to our worthwhile cause, Laura’s house.  As you know, Laura’s house is a shelter for battered children and women.  Books do not need to be new!
A box for your donations will be at each monthly meeting. We are particularly interested in children’s books, but we accept all books; no magazines.

Also, as you are aware, we make a book donation to a local library annually, as part of our Literacy Program; “MAMIE EISENHOWER LIBRARY PROJECT”.  Please take the time to read through the attached book list.  These books have merit and purpose and we feel it is an honor to be able to donate a book to our local library and to know that WE are making a difference.  Please help us make a difference by donating a book(s) from this list.  You may already have one of theses books in your possession and it would be great if you would donate it to us, knowing that your book will touch many, many hands.
